In the very heart of theSubbética region of Córdoba lies aspectacular waterfall known asthe Salto del Caballo. This beautiful waterfall, situated near the village ofAlmedinilla, can be reached via a path that starts at the History Museum, surrounded by lush vegetation and nature. It is located at the foot of the Sierra de Albayate. It follows a cattle track that runs along the same route as an ancient Roman road. A distinctive feature of this waterfall is its large pool, where many people often bathe despite the water being too deep to stand in.
