The Public Washhouse on Calle Loja is located on that street, next to an alleyway, near the junction with Calle Cardenal Cisneros. According to the Calvo Aguilera Brothers’ Water Guide, the water originates behind this washhouse at the so-called Manantial de la Mina spring. It is the only washhouse preserved in the town centre, thanks to pressure from local residents following a petition in favour of its conservation and maintenance.
