FOOD MARKET

FOOD MARKET

A traditional market with a churros shop and a fishmonger’s, ideal for experiencing the local culture. Open every morning, perfect for early-rising tourists.

The market opened its doors in 1965 with a slaughterhouse in its lower ground floor. In the years that followed, the stalls fell into disuse as people turned to modern shops and supermarkets, and the slaughterhouse was converted into a warehouse for municipal supplies. Today, only a few stalls are in use: a shop, a churros stall, a fishmonger’s, and a rotisserie selling roast chicken.

Opening hours: open in the mornings from Monday to Sunday
