Underwater Route

The Subbética Route is a long-distance trail promoted by the Subbética Association of Municipalities, which links the region across more than 226 kilometres. It is organised into nine main stages and various alternative routes, some of which are circular, allowing the experience to be tailored to different levels and types of walkers. The route connects towns such as Cabra, Lucena, Rute, Priego de Córdoba, Carcabuey, Zuheros, Doña Mencía and Iznájar, passing through areas of great scenic, environmental and heritage value. The route is currently undergoing certification by the Andalusian Mountaineering Federation and is equipped with official signage, waymarkers, information panels and facilities, ensuring safety, wayfinding and quality. It is thus established as a sustainable tourism product that boosts the local economy, promotes outdoor sports and showcases the cultural and natural resources of the Subbética region.
