To reach this spring, take the old N331 road from Benamejí towards El Tejar; once you have crossed the medieval bridge over the River Genil, turn left onto the dirt track that leads down to the riverbed. After a few hundred metres, the track turns right and heads uphill, leaving a path on the left that leads down to the river itself; the spring is located there.
It has a semi-circular front, with a single spout that flows into a small basin, which in turn flows directly into the River Genil by gravity.
