The building is arranged around a main courtyard with a low, open cloister, whose semicircular arches are supported by heavy Tuscan columns. Its entrance, made of multicoloured jasper, is particularly striking. The entrance, with a semicircular arch and voussoirs combining black and white marble, with a keystone of red jasper, is flanked by columns with smooth shafts and composite capitals, raised on prismatic pedestals. Dating from the second half of the 18th century, some see in it the hand of José Bada Navajas from Lucena.
