Set against the imposing façade of the Church of San Juan de Dios stands this work by the Lucena-born sculptor Francisco Javier del Espino, which pays tribute to the Lucena-born flamenco guitarist who marked a turning point in the genre. A visit to the parish church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, located just before you reach this spot, is highly recommended.
