The Niño del Coso Fountain

The Niño del Coso Fountain

A Rococo fountain featuring a child and a shell, situated on a corner of the Coso. It is located near the Gonzalez-Palma mansion.
This fountain depicts a child in the Rococo style, holding a scallop shell from which a spout emerges, through which the water flows. Its exact date of construction is unknown, but it is documented in photographs from the early 20th century. It is located on one of the corners of Plaza de España, El Coso, and we recommend that you arrange a visit to the Gonzalez-Palma mansion, which is very close by, so that you can discover this architectural gem of Lucena.
