This beautiful monument to the Virgin Mary, patron saint of the Association of Religious Brotherhoods of Lucena, stands in the Llanete de San Agustín, opposite the façade of the Church of San Martín (Agustinas Recoletas). There are several spots and monuments to visit in the surrounding area, but we recommend a visit to the Círculo Lucentino (Casino), both its courtyard and its Hall of Mirrors, which is the ballroom, as well as stopping at one of the tables on the terrace to sample some of the dishes from Lucena’s varied cuisine.
