At the start of Calle Cabrillana, at the junction with Calle Llorente el Ciego, we find the Llanete de la Virgen de la Estrella, a small square dedicated to the Virgin, who is carried in procession on the afternoon of Palm Sunday and belongs to the Cofradía del Huerto. The Virgin de la Estrella is the work of the Seville-based sculptor Luis Álvarez Duarte, created in 2000. On one side of the square stands a stately home bearing the coat of arms of the Villalta family. The austerity of the two-storey façade, with its centrally aligned windows, contrasts with the Baroque entrance portal in red limestone, topped by a coat of arms flanked by rampant lions. The coat of arms bears the arms of the Gil Guerrero family, which gave way to the Valdecañas family, who preferred to use the arms of their marriage alliance.
