The Pamplinar Trail

The Pamplinar Trail

A circular route winding through olive groves and along country lanes, with gentle slopes and panoramic views of the Iznájar reservoir.
A circular route that runs through the municipality of Rute, in the area surrounding the Iznájar reservoir, combining country lanes, livestock tracks and agricultural landscapes dominated by olive groves. Access to the trail is via the A-331 road, at the junction with the CP-3, in the area behind the María Luisa residential complex. From this point, take a livestock track which serves as the main route. The route winds through extensive olive groves, beginning a gradual descent over approximately 4 kilometres. The route is characterised by its continuity and by running through open countryside, with gentle slopes and generally stable ground. Along the way, the path offers increasingly sweeping views of the Iznájar reservoir, which becomes the main feature of the landscape as you draw closer to its shore. The contrast between the farmland and the expanse of water is one of the route’s main attractions.
