Two houses from that century stand out in the central Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, forming an architectural ensemble with the façade of the parish church. These most notable houses are numbers 6 and 12, and feature three sections with balconies, enhanced by giant-order pilasters at the ends of their façades.
