Lower Zagrilla

Lower Zagrilla

Aldea con casas de labor del s. XIX, famosa por la recolección del membrillo en otoño y el Jardín Micológico "La Trufa".

A village that developed from the 19th century onwards around the farmhouses built to support work in the orchards. The Virgin of Carmen, the village’s patron saint, is celebrated in August. Towards the end of September and October, the quince harvest takes place, transforming the landscape with the characteristic yellow colour of the fruit. Nearby, you can visit the ‘La Trufa’ Mycological Garden.
