Source of the River

A karst spring surrounded by gardens and ornamental trees, designated as a 'Site of Cultural Interest' and a 'Distinctive Grove', ideal for nature tourism.

La Fuente del Río is a prime example of a natural landscape that has been transformed by human intervention. It is an area where the natural character of a spring typical of the karst system of the Sierra de Cabra converges with the ornamental value of the gardens and trees, creating a landscape of great interest that has earned it various designations such as ‘Site of Cultural Interest’ (B.I.C.), ‘Site of Natural Interest’ or ‘Unique Grove’.
