Trowel

Pequeña aldea con ruta escénica, fuente de agua con propiedades saludables y una ermita de 1920, ideal para disfrutar de tradiciones y festividades locales.

La Cubertilla is a small hamlet belonging to Fuente-Tójar. It lies just 5 km from the town centre and is crossed by the Los Barrancos trail.

Along the way, we come across a spring that was once used as a washing place, and whose water is said to have a number of health benefits. It remains a tradition for many people to go there to collect water for making certain dishes, such as chickpea stew or cocido.

Furthermore, in this small hamlet, there is a small chapel, La Santa Cruz de la Cubertilla, built in 1920 and the venue for the festivities of the same name.
