Anise Altamirano

Anise Altamirano

Destilería tradicional ofrece anís y licores artesanales de alta calidad, destacando el anís extra seco y la crema de anisete. Visitas de lunes a sábado.

Since 1909, the Altamirano family has been producing the finest aniseed-flavoured spirits and liqueurs in the traditional style of Rute.

Antonio Altamirano Martín-Montijano founded several distilleries in Rute, but it was Anís Altamirano that stood the test of time.

In the 1970s, under the management of Salvador Altamirano Madrid, the distillery expanded and upgraded its facilities, whilst retaining the traditional methods used to produce its fine aniseed spirits and mature its rich liqueurs.

Since the mid-1990s, it has been Antonio’s grandchildren who have been marketing the new brand to this day.

The Destilerías Altamirano project, with a history spanning over a century, endures to this day. Based primarily on the artisanal quality of its products and its commitment to customer service, it is now a family business of recognised prestige with a bright future ahead.

Some of its most notable products include: extra dry aniseed, with an alcohol content of 55% ABV; low-alcohol aniseed cream (25% ABV); pacharán, made exclusively from macerated sloe berries; and the famous sweet aniseed liqueur, with an alcohol content of 35%, and ‘Grandma’s Rosoli’, made with the finest ingredients (aniseed, sugar, coffee and cinnamon).
