Almedinilla History and Archaeology Museum
It is situated at the foot of the Sierra de Albayate, in a natural setting of environmental interest and outstanding beauty. Its 1,200 m² are spread across five rooms:
·The Mills and Cereal Room.
·The Caicena Room
·The Oil and Olive Tree Room, bearing witness to history.
·The Iberian Culture Room, which contains an extensive collection of artefacts from the Iberian settlement of ‘Cerro de la Cuz’, notably including everyday pottery in perfect condition, loom weights, agricultural tools, weapons and grave goods.
·The Roman Culture Room, displaying everyday objects as well as the unique collection of sculptures from the Roman villa ‘El Ruedo’, with the Greco-Roman god of sleep, ‘Hypnos or Somnus’, standing out among them.
The guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour.

June to August Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm. Saturdays also from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm Guided tours: Tuesday to Sunday at 12.30 pm. Saturdays also at 7.00 pm.
Guided tour times for the Archaeological Site (Historical Museum, ‘El Cerro de la Cruz’ Iberian Settlement and ‘El Ruedo’ Roman Villa)

The tour lasts approximatelythree and a half hours.
