In the north-western part of the town, on the livestock track leading to the Castillejo spring. The spring can be reached from the old road between Cabra and Carcabuey via a clearly signposted unpaved turn-off (Fuente Castillejo).
The waters served as a watering hole and resting place within the region’s network of livestock trails. In the past, it was a spring with a fair flow, around which a recreational area was established; this area is still in use, although the water flow has diminished considerably, possibly due to pumping activities in the vicinity.
