"El Lucerico" Mill

Complejo industrial romano de aceite con trojes, muros de mampostería y depósitos de decantación, ideal para explorar la historia del aceite en Europa.

About three kilometres from Cerro de las Cabezas, along the Positillo road, lies the “Lucerico” Roman Mill, considered one of the largest industrial olive oil complexes in Western Europe. It covers an area of almost 1,700 m² and is divided into three zones. A storage area, a second zone featuring masonry walls and rectangular pressings, and finally an area of settling tanks.
