Following thedisusedrailway linesof the Subbética, formerly used bythe ‘oil train’, you can explore theheart of Andalusiaoncycling and walking routes. Thebeautiful landscapes of theSierras SubbéticasNatural Parkblend harmoniously with thepreserved railway architecture, comprising four viaducts, five stations, a 139-metre tunnel, thirteen residential buildings, ranging from level crossing huts (road crossings) to workers’ huts and railway workers’ homes, all of which are invarying states of repair. In addition, there are a total ofsix rest areasequipped with benches, bench-tables, litter bins and bicycle racks.
