Sugar Museum

Sugar Museum

Exposición de monumentos y figuras en azúcar, destacando piezas únicas como el Castillo de Disney y obras de arte famosas. Abierto de octubre a diciembre.

A unique museum concept, to which La Flor de Rute has applied the same dedication it puts into crafting its renowned Christmas sweets. A journey through the history of Christmas sweets, brought to life through a reproduction of an old family-run mantecado factory, set within a space brimming with details, curiosities and surprises. Machinery, utensils, greeting cards and photographs of distinguished visitors, old recipe books, a DVD explaining the manufacturing process, etc. In this museum, you can visit an exclusive exhibition of ANDALUCÍA EN AZÚCAR, taking a tour of Andalusia through its monuments made entirely of sugar. A completely handcrafted process, requiring several months of work, makes these pieces unique and exclusive, created by master pastry chef Mr Luis Muixi. Alongside the exclusive ‘Andalucía en Azúcar’ exhibition, the museum features further monuments, figures and paintings crafted from this sweet material, such as the Disney Castle, figures of Salvador Dalí, the Duchess of Alba, Michael Jackson and Picasso, as well as famous paintings including Guernica and Las Meninas… Open during October, November and December.www.laflorderute.es
