On the small square known as Cristo de la Columna, on Calle Lademora, stands this monument with a modern design that captures the movement of Christ and the executioners who take part in the procession on Maundy Thursday during our Holy Week; we highly recommend a visit. Likewise, by prior arrangement, you can visit the Brotherhood House of the Cofradía de la Columna, located opposite the monument. Both this and the other Brotherhood Houses in Lucena are essential visits for understanding the importance of Holy Week and the brotherhood movement in Lucena.
