Descubre un sendero histórico junto al río Caicena, con acequias, manantial, antiguos lavaderos y una torre que impulsaba un molino y generaba electricidad.

This site begins on Calle Molinos, a street of great historical significance, from where you can reach the Almedinilla History Museum via a path surrounded by nature along the banks of the River Caicena.

This site encapsulates the relationship that this town has had and continues to have with the River Caicena. It is from here that the irrigation channels flow to water the fertile market gardens of the municipal area; it is also home to the main spring that supplies drinking water to the town, it was here that the public wash houses were built, and thanks to the stone tower visible outside, from which water was drawn, the wheels of the ‘tower’ or ‘cube’ flour mill were turned, whilst electricity was generated back in the 1920s.

Surround yourself with nature and visit Almedinilla.
