At the entrance to Castillo del Moral stands a sculpture in honour of Luís Fernández de Córdoba, 2nd Marquis of Comares, created in 1971 by Amadeo Ruiz Olmos to commemorate the bringing of the statue of the Virgin of Araceli from Italy in 1562.
