Calvario Chapel and Viewpoint

Ofrece vistas espectaculares del entorno natural y es punto de inicio y fin de la Ruta de los Recintos Fortificados.

This chapel can be seen from anywhere in the town. It houses images of Christ on the Cross and Our Lady of Sorrows. The viewpoint is situated in ‘La Serrezuela’, next to the Calvary Chapel. From this spot, one can admire an extraordinarily beautiful view, one of the most stunning vistas of the town and the natural surroundings that envelop it. Adjacent to this viewpoint lies the start and end of one of the routes and trails that circle Doña Mencía, in this case: The Route of the Fortified Enclosures.
