Brácana is famous for its vibrant carnival celebrations. During these festivities, the locals dress up with ingenuity and creativity to take part in the competitions. The Brácana carnival is an opportunity to leave everyday worries behind and immerse yourself in the fun and festive spirit.

At the heart of Brácana stands the Church of Our Lady of Fátima, a place of devotion and spiritual gathering for the local community. The Virgin of Fátima is venerated with great fervour. On 13 May, a procession is organised that winds its way through the village streets.

Brácana is also known for its production of high-quality olive oil. The Nuestra Señora del Carmen Cooperative plays a vital role in the community, bringing together local farmers and promoting the production and marketing of extra virgin olive oil. This liquid treasure is the result of the effort and dedication of the area’s farmers, as olive groves stretch across the beautiful landscapes of Brácana and its surroundings.

Brácana’s olive oil bears the Priego de Córdoba Protected Designation of Origin seal. This guarantees its quality and authenticity, making it a product that is highly regarded both nationally and internationally.
