On the outskirts of Cabra, some 15 km away, in the hamlet of Ermita Virgen de la Sierra, lies the Picacho, home to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Sierra; it attracts numerous devotees of the Virgin from all over Andalusia and Spain.

Construction of the building began in 1260, and inside it stands out a Baroque altarpiece crafted from local marble, featuring a niche in which the image of the patron saint is enshrined.
