In Fuente Grande, the festival of Saint Joseph is a highlight of the local calendar. Every year, on 19 March, the village is filled with joy and celebration to honour its patron saint, Saint Joseph. During this festival, residents and visitors gather to share moments of devotion, music and dancing, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

But the history and traditions of Fuente Grande are also linked to the production of olive oil, one of the region’s gastronomic gems. In this village, you’ll find several olive oil mills where this precious golden liquid is produced. You’ll be enchanted by the heady aroma and pure flavour of extra virgin olive oil, which reflects the passion and knowledge passed down from generation to generation.

The olive harvest is a special time in Fuente Grande, where families and farmers work together to gather the fruits of the earth. The carefully selected olives are taken to the mill to be transformed into olive oil of exceptional quality. The heady aroma of fresh olives fills the air and becomes a symbol of the village’s identity.
