The Plains of Don Juan

Aldea rodeada de parajes bellos, con el Monumento natural de la Encina Milenaria y una ermita que alberga a la Virgen del Carmen, celebrada en agosto.

It is the second largest village in Rute, situated some 12 km from Rute. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside, notably the Natural Monument of the Millennial Holm Oak, which lies very close by. The small, simple chapel in the centre of the village houses the Virgin of Carmen, whose festivities are held during the month of August.
